Palm Jebel Ali extends off the Jebel Ali coastline in south-west Dubai, next to the Jebel Ali Marine Sanctuary and a short drive from Expo City. The mainland connection is a landscaped public access road of about 6 km running from Sheikh Zayed Road (E11), awarded to DBB Contracting in 2024, alongside an upgrade to Al Hesah Street.
The island anchors the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan’s westward expansion, positioned between Al Maktoum International Airport’s growth corridor and the established Marina and Palm Jumeirah districts. Utilities, roads and telecoms across Fronds A to G and the Spine District are contracted for completion in Q4 2026. Public transport links to the island remain under study.
Beside a marine sanctuary
The Jebel Ali Marine Sanctuary borders the development, one reason around 30% of the island's public facilities will run on renewable energy and mobility planning favours water transport, cycling and shaded walking streets.
Twenty minutes from everything
Set off the Jebel Ali coast with direct Sheikh Zayed Road access, beside the Jebel Ali Marine Sanctuary and close to Expo City.
